Research on the Prediction Model of the Friction Coefficient of Asphalt Pavement Based on Tire-Pavement Coupling

The correlations between pavement texture and tire pressure with the actual tire-road contact area were first investigated according to static characteristics; on this basis, influence mechanisms of speed friction coefficient systematically explored from angle coupling system dynamics via self-developed dynamic testing tire-pavement friction. By integrating above factors, BP neural network method was applied regression prediction model for asphalt coefficient. Through comparison measured value estimated value, their correlation R2 reached 0.73, indicating that is satisfactory accuracy applicable antiskid design pavement.
